Working with Bart Long in selling inherited real estate was much more than a business transaction because the inherited real estate was much more to me than just buildings. They were a lifetime of memories; an historic building that was my home for my first five years of life and a building which housed a business and apartment rentals with unbelievable 75 years of successful means of livelihood providing for three generations. Both of these buildings have been staples in Bluff City for decades.

It made an emotional day for me feel right as the buildings attained new owners and possibilities of new life in renovations.

Bart Long was a friend of my mother. She had used his services more than a decade ago to auction some small houses she owned. I saw then how kind he was and how easy he made the transactions. When she passed away I knew he would be the one I would ask to help me. He has now become my friend. He went above and beyond to help me in every detail from giving me wise counsel, making buildings safe until the auction date, suggesting and coordinating an excellent estate sale company for selling store and apartment contents and communicating well in kindness as this process was an emotional journey for me. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job caring for the future of my parent's legacy than Bart Long. I am so grateful for him and his team.
